NHS Health Checks
We are currently offering a new service called ‘NHS Health Checks’. This aims to detect high blood pressure or cholesterol, or if your lifestyle is putting you at risk of heart disease or diabetes. You will be given information and advice by our trained HCA as part of the appointment.
If you are aged between 40 and 74 without a pre-existing health condition such as diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease or stroke, you are entitled to have an NHS Health Check every 5 years. We are currently operating a waiting list for this service with appointments re-starting in April 2017
