What to do When We're Closed

When the surgery is closed please dial 111 for health advice and to link to the out of hours service.

111 is available for general health queries, and advice 24 / 7. During evenings and weekends they will direct you to the Out of Hours service, which is run by BRISDOC locally.

You will be able to speak to an experienced family doctor who may:

Give advice and make recommendations. (Please note that these phone conversations are audio recorded.)

Ask you to attend a Primary Care Centre to be examined and treated. (You will not be able to see a family doctor without an appointment at the Primary Care Centre)

Decide to visit you at home, if the doctor feels you are too ill to travel.
