Brilliant urology service

I visited today for a urology appointment with a clinician, I’m unsure of his name but he was a bald gentleman and he was absolutely brilliant. Honestly this man should not only be respected as his work as a doctor, but also for his words of wisdom that have genuinely stuck with me and had a great impact on my thoughts and attitude towards the issue which I visited him for with my bladder. It was honestly like having a chat with a caring dad. Really was the wake up call I needed, and he provided me with a lot of helpful information which I never knew previously about my condition. Absolutely hats off to this man and to your clinic for this service, I couldn’t be more grateful.

Very impressed

I had some strange pains in my jaw and chest . I told the receptionist on a Friday lunchtime. Within half an hour I had a call from the Practice Paramedic , with firm advice on what to do if it happened over the weekend and blood tests and and ECG arranged for the Monday . The ECG was reviewed by the Paramedic who checked with the duty doctor and got me a full doctor apptmt for the Thursday .By then the bloods were back and the next steps decided. It was a splendid joined up professional service .Thank-you very much ,I thought it would be weeks before I got to see anyone.

Unbelievable Excellent Service

I ring the GP and explain my problem to the receptionist, 30 minutes later a doctor rings me back. after a discussion she says come to the surgery. Another excellent GP carries out a thorough examination and says I need an urgent blood test and a scan. 2 hours later the blood test is done. At 5am the next morning the on duty GP rings me and says go straight to the hospital for admission. An hour later and I am in bed in the hospital. Because the diagnosis by the GP was spot on my scan request was already in the system and was completed a few hours later. you could not ask for a more speedy access to the local GP team, excellent and accurate diagnosis, and prompt referral to the local hospital. Whatever you hear or read and although primary care is under increasing pressure Westbury on Trym primary care is there for you when you need it.

Very good practice

Very good experience- the GP was excellent providing me with information about my condition and explaining the options available to me moving forward.
