I grew up in Westbury-on-Trym in the days of Skyrmes, Drews Stores and Mortons the Butchers – and when the Home Ground housing was playing fields!
I left Westbury to read Human Sciences at Oxford and then went on to do Health Services Research before training to be a doctor. I qualified from University of Bristol in 2003 and joined the practice (working part-time) in December 2013 after GP training and working in North Somerset.
I enjoy all aspects of family medicine, but in particular have additional qualifications in women’s health, sexual health and contraception. I am also involved in general practice research.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my young family, playing the French horn in local orchestras and trying to keep fit.
